It has been most apropos that we have been studying the book of James and 1 Peter this week at the Bible college in Kyiv in light of all the strange challenges we find ourselves in these days. In between war/virus reports from both Armenia and Ukraine, not to mention the mad election race going on at home in America that was a virtual absurdity that has no comparison, Peter goes so far to forewarn us, "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for testing, as though some strange things were happening to you
(1 Peter 4:13)."
