Vladimir Imakaev was born in 1982 in Odessa, Ukraine. One of the youngest successful authors in Europe, he has 3 novels published in Russia with 2 more awaiting publication in 2010.
Seven publishers offered him to sign a contract after reading first five chapters of his book. But Vladimir chose "Christopher," the publishing house famous in Russia for printing Russian translations of Frank Peretti's books.
After moving to the United States Vladimir became member of the pastors’ board of the church “Word of Truth” in the city of Boise, Idaho. Later he moved to the city of Meridian, Idaho, where now serves in the media ministry in the church Capital Christian Center. Vladimir is married and has two children.
The first book of the internationally famous trilogy titled Paradise was released in English in the United States in April 2010 under the title Paradise. Mystery of the Past. The novel was translated by the writer Lara Lond and released by the WestBow publishing house, which is famous for publishing Christian fiction literature in the U.S. Among the books published by WestBow are such bestsellers by Frank Peretti as This Present Darkness, The Oath, The Visitationand others.
