Former Alaska governor and GOP pro-life leader Sarah Palin appeared at a pro-life fundraising event, telling supporters that she was choosing to support “life” over attending a glamorous and prestigious event fêting the White House press corps, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

Politico reported on Palin’s decision to appear at the fundraiser in Bethsada, Maryland for the pro-life advertising group, Heroic Media , rather than the famous White House Correspondents dinner attended by D.C. socialites and politicos.

“The pro-life cause or White House Correspondents’ Dinner? I choose life,” Palin said.

Although the press was not invited, Politico explained they bought a ticket to the event, which was hosted by Jewish Americans for Sarah Palin.
