It is a sad fact of our nature - a psychological fact - that our own desires can be so loud they sound like Divine commands. Shout long enough about what we already want to do and the echo will come back sooner or later, but it is our own voice, not the voice of God.
People talk of how they wrestled with God over a decision. Is God like that? Hardly! In fact, they are wrestling with their own will, not God’s will. They want Him to agree. Do we...
Jesus had LOVE. It was a new kind of power. Pettiness, self-interest and all the other rubbish that had ruined hearts, was likely to be atomized by this new force. He did not seem to notice enmity against Him. He overwhelmed hatred as if it did not exist. His quiet peace was more exuberant than our drunken orgies. To a world full of dungeons, His coming was as heaven. Be blessed.
Jesus was the same wonder-working Jesus after He was crucified as before. His compassion for sufferers did not die when He died. He is not a dispensational figure, altering His activity according to the calendar. Jesus is alive and active today, no matter where and how you are. God bless you.
God can’t act through people who don’t act. Smith Wigglesworth told a do-nothing preacher, “The Acts of the Apostles was written because the Apostles acted”. The disciples were fishing when Jesus called them to be fishers of men. To the work - in the name of Jesus.
The sign of the Cross is the most powerful symbol in the world. The death of Christ is the pivot of time, the rock that never rocks, standing in the sea of history with the waves beating against it, but never moving! We trust Jesus because He is trustworthy. We can be full of faith in Him because He is faithful.
Each person has a plan for his or her life according to the Word of God. We have been predestined for greatness and the highest purpose of God. However, the enemy of our souls has another plan for our lives.Satan’s plan is activated by fear, selfishness, lack of self-control, lack of faith and many other weaknesses that Satan and his dupes feed upon to try and ruin the lives of all human beings.I am very sad to hear many “Christians” receiving dreams, visions, and revelations which are...
Bereavement is a special kind of agony impossible to convey. It has always been like that. When personal loss means loss of a person, nothing can hurt more. But there is “the God of all comfort”. Fall into His gracious arms. The Holy Spirit urges me to write these lines for someone in great need. I pray for you.
Moses said to Israel “Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”. But GOD told Moses to stop crying and gave a COUNTER-COMMAND “Speak unto the children of Israel THAT THEY GO FORWARD”. (Ex 14:13-15) When you hear “stand still” it’s Rev. Moses, but when you hear “go forward” it is God.
Why begin a Christian meeting by rebuking all the powers of evil in the place? If people gather together in the name of Jesus, demons definitely don't! In fact, if they had any sense, they'd keep well away! BUT, there's someone who is there every time people gather in Christ's name - the HOLY SPIRIT. He's there in full throbbing force. He is never absent.
Somebody said that I would follow Jesus “with too much devotion”. But who can prove that my coffee is too sweet for me? It is a matter of personal preference. Not so? As for me I cannot get enough of the Lord. “To me He is so wonderful…because He first loved me”

One is compelled to stand in awe of the Darwinian evolutionists’ total abstinence of rationale so simple that even a child can readily understand. It truly takes a university to make someone stupid enough to believe Darwin.

You have to watch this incredible video! Doctor Chauncey Crandall is a good friend of ours and an anointed man of God who was also one of the speakers at Fire Storm in Dallas (if you weren’t there…you missed out). He is a nationally known and much sought-after cardiologist and heart surgeon. Not only is he a man of science, but also a man of faith. He is known to pray for his patients and lead them to the Lord in the hospital, and he has experienced mighty miracles...

This past week I had the most incredible experience in evangelism that I have had in my life thus far. I had the privilege of leading someone very, very, very important to Jesus…a V.I.P. of note. He had done something wrong and felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Of course he didn’t realize that it was the Holy Spirit at first, all he knew is that he felt bad inside. His heart felt dark and he didn’t like it at all. So he told me about it and I had the opportunity to...
Christmas: The greatest paradox and mystery is how the unchangeable God became Man, became what He was not. But “great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh” at Bethlehem (1Tim 3:16). Putting on manhood He never threw it aside. He didn’t remove His human form in glory like a diver taking of his suit after a plunge into an alien element. The greatest name in heaven and earth is human, Jesus Christ and “Jesus Christ (is) the same yesterday, today and for ever”. Good...
Peter walking the waves; he was so human and yet...! Jesus offered him do what no man had ever done. Perhaps the other disciples said “Not me!” But Peter was prepared to give up the reality of a safe boat and lean on the word of Christ. “If it is you Lord”. Everything with Jesus is taken care of, storm or no storm. Once we belong to Christ, He gives us responsibilities but He sees we get through, even if it means miracles. God bless you.

The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” ~ John 3:8
I am a native Floridian and I have been through many hurricanes, but 2004 was by far the most active hurricane season I have ever experienced in my life. Although I am originally from Port Charlotte (a town in the southwest), I was living in Tampa Bay at the time.
In August we watched with nervous...

Just a quick update on the run: yesterday I was preaching in Dusseldorf. Today I am in Tostdet, a little town on the outskirts of Hamburg. Tomorrow I will preach here again, before traveling on to Singapore.
It’s Pentecost Sunday today and so the theme of the services was right up my alley. I must say that the burden of the Lord came over me this morning so strongly as I got up to preach. I was about 1/3 through my message when the Holy Spirit just took over and I can...
