Prayer & Fasting

People are lost. REJECTION, DEPRESSION, QUILT, FEAR, DECEPTION. THESE SYMPTOMS OF SPIRITUAL BONDAGE ARE EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK. They need to be saved and receive that living water which will give them entrance into eternal life. This is for real. We can get so concerned with trying to live this life and pursue the things in this life that the eternal soul remains in darkness and is separated from God.(JOHN 4:4)ISAIAH.44:3

Heavenly Abba / Father, Most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you abundantly bless my family and me. I know that you recognize, that a family is more than just a mother and father, sister and brother, husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in you. Father, I send up a prayer request for a financial blessing. Father I know that for you nothing is impossible, you just will it and it will happen. I thank you in advance for your blessings. Release your Godly Wisdom that I may...

The Bible is like a great curtain of embroidery. There are hundreds of threads, main threads, smaller threads, and they are woven together in a wonderful way by the Holy Spirit. The whole Bible is one great picture with a million points of interest. In fact it is a living picture, not just a dead scene, and it has endless interests. Make sure you read it. You will be blessed.

Nailed and helpless Jesus conquered the Roman captain who was in charge of the crucifixion. (Mark 15, 37-39). Within 300 years, Rome itself had been conquered. Not by the booted feet of military forces, but by the bleeding feet of this Man hanging there. The last pagan emperor, Julian, tried to reverse it all, but could not. He cried out "O Galilean, you have conquered!" God bless you today.

Shalom from Living Stone Ministry ( Jerusalem Israel )We citizens and supporters of Israel oppose a return to the indefensible 1967 lines which would result in the division of Jerusalem. Before 1967 Jews were forbidden into the Old City of Jerusalem, Since 1967 Israel has ensured "the freedom of all faiths in our eternal capital, the united city of Jerusalem."Any potential peace agreement must take into consideration Israel's most basic security needs in Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan...

Imagine a violin player who begins his concert performance. The violin sounds beautiful, and the player is clearly a skilled performer - but then suddenly the rest of the orchestra joins in and it is a disaster. What has gone wrong? It's simple - even though the violin is beautiful on its own, it is completely out of tune with the other instruments. Even when all the correct notes are being played, the result sounds terrible. Your prayer might sound excellent, but is it in tune with the will...

Jesus said this: 'When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen' (Matthew 6:6). Secret prayer is the secret of prayer. Close the door of your prayer room, and the door of heaven opens. When the 120 disciples locked themselves in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost, the windows of glory were unlocked and the Holy Spirit rained down upon them. Take time for God.

One thing the Bible is positive about - all prayer is heard, perfect or not. Why are prayers sometimes not answered? Some people ask “why does God allow suffering?” God does not ‘allow it’. Does the doctor allow sickness or the police allow crime? God is against sickness and the works of the devil. He ordained prayer as a way to co-operate with Him to release humankind from the satanic stranglehold. If we don’t pray nothing happens. ‘Men ought always to pray and not to faint’. Keep believing...

May 26th, 2010 I’ve just arrived in Singapore and very jet-lagged, but I thought I would quickly post this 15th century poem by Sir Francis Drake…a dangerous prayer to pray… Disturb us Lord,When we are too pleased with ourselves,When our dreams have come trueBecause we dreamed too little,When we arrived safelyBecause we sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us Lord,When with the abundance of things we possessWe have lost our thirst for the waters of life;Having fallen in love with life,We...

Prayer is not an interview with God. The “Amen” doesn’t mean “See you again Lord!” God’s door is wide open and you don’t close it when you go out. He is as much with you when you are not praying as when you are. “I will never leave you nor forsake you. Look! I am with you always.” This is unconditional. Praying does not create God’s presence. We pray because God IS present. Have a blessed day.

When God made the world He also planned to answer prayer. He took prayer into account in the building plan. Prayer and faith enable Him to do what He would not otherwise do. God can do anything, but doesn’t, until we pray. That is His planning in all His providences. But to encourage us He recorded His thousands of express undertakings, His covenants and agreements, stating what His will is. We bring about His will when we pray. So, let’s “pray without ceasing…” God bless you.
