The teacher this week was Russell Korets from Federal Way, Washington and his ministry is City On Hill Church. The students really enjoyed having him teach, especially on how to appeal to the younger demographic. Russell has been working with teens for a long time now and has a great passion for this ministry, and SMBS is blessed to have him come and share his knowledge.
The students at SMBS were ready for some fun Saturday April 2nd, especially after a long week...
Join CfaN in building a Harvest Home!
Recently, Christ for all Nations went from renters to owners with the purchase of an office building in Orlando, Florida. By the grace of God and the generous support of a few partners, the cost was completely paid — with cash! CfaN now has a “Harvest Home” for the soul-winning work we do around the world.
This Harvest Home means now, every month, more funds can be channeled directly into soul-winning. Additionally, this building will include facilities...

People speak of "the call of the prophet" in Isaiah 6. But Isaiah never was called. He volunteered. God did not say "Isaiah, will you go?" Isaiah realized God would send anybody willing. He ventured to offer himself. "Here I am. Send me". The Lord did not hesitate or ask Isaiah to submit his C.V. first. He just said "Go!" Well, let’s go.

This past weekend our SMBS students traveled to South Carolina and Georgia to visit three wonderful Slavic congregations. The students packed up their bags Saturday morning, and by 9:30 were on their way to Spartanburg, South Carolina. With eight hours on the road, the students had enough time to get to know each other better in such tight quarters. The trip was dotted with testimonies the students were able to share mighty things which God has been doing in their...
April 4th- 10th
Time at SMBS does not stand still. With activities everyday after school and new teachers every week the Students do not have time to look back. The teacher this week was Victor Voznyuk, who flew in from Ukraine to teach about Evangelism and Missions. With his bright personality the students grew to love him quickly.
The Students had another car wash this Saturday, and they gave all they had even though it was 95°F. The sun was not forgiving and the car wash ended earlier...

HE IS RISEN!! HE HAS RISEN INDEED!
Happy Easter from all the Staff and Students at the Slavic Missionary Bible School!
Last week’s teacher, Peter Pipchenko, taught a new subject every day. He started with the Old Testament and then moved on to discussing topics such as Finances, Victory in Temptation, Evolution, and Spiritual Nourishment. These are some subjects that are not always talked in churches and our students really enjoyed hearing more. Both teachers and...
Missions! Missions! Missions! The previous week has been focused on mission’s preparation, mission’s groups, and mission’s fundraising.
The students have finally received their missionary groups and locations that they will be going to. Most will be going in six to seven person teams. This has brought the realization that there is not much time left before everyone will be graduating and moving on to bigger things. We have 10 new groups of young missionaries ready to go into the...
April 25th- May 1st
Slavic Missionary Bible School is know for its missionary focus in Ukraine, but what many do not get to hear about is our local missionary work in Jacksonville, Florida. The students get most of their practical experience from the ministries that they do while in school. Monday nights is one of the most interesting nights for students. They get into groups of about 13- 15 people and go to; homeless shelter to feed the homeless, Jacksonville Juvenile Detention center, or...

Tonight, Rebekah ministered to the women at Transforming Life Ministries in Plant City where she was invited to speak at their Mothers Day banquet. It was a wonderful message about trusting the Lord our provider…Jehovah Jireh. She spoke about Job trusting the Lord, even in sickness and loss.
She spoke about Ruth trusting the Lord and remaining faithful to Naomi and about how the Lord provided for the city of Samaria when they were besieged by the Syrians in II Kings 6....

This morning I had the privilege of ministering at Grace and Glory worship Center. I presented the pastor with a specially made panoramic poster of our Kamonki, Pakistan crusade that this church gave so generously towards. The word that the Lord gave me to preach was a call to prayer. Little did I know that just a couple days earlier the pastor had called the church to 30 days of extended prayer and fasting…the Lord was in it. There was a sweet presence of the Lord in the...

I just arrived home a few hours ago and I am reflecting on the events of the past week. What a powerful move of the Holy Spirit we experienced in Brazil. After leaving Belo Horizonte, we traveled to a city called Goiania and ministered in a church there called Videira. It is a church of about 15,000 yet it is only about 10 years old. I ministered on Monday night before Reinhard Bonnke preached and then to the Bible school on Tuesday morning. The atmosphere was charged and God...

I have just returned from Montgomery Alabama where I was invited by Pastors Greg and Traci Huguley to speak at a youth retreat called “Camp Re-Unite ’07″. I was truly impressed with the level of maturity and hunger in the young people and I believe that it is a testament to the quality leadership of the youth groups that were represented.
I ministered on Monday night, Tuesday morning, Tuesday night and Wednesday night. In each service there was a noticeable rise in the...

I am in transit now to Miyazaki, Japan for the J+Passion Conference where I will be ministering for several days. I had a layover in South Korea today so I visited Yoido Full Gospel Church in downtown Seoul. It is Tuesday here so there were no services going on, but it was still very interesting to walk around the campus and get a feel for what God is doing here.
Yoido is the largest church in the world with over 800,000 members. The sanctuary only seats 12,000 at one time...

Last night was a wonderful beginning to the services that will be taking place all throughout the week. I could sense the tide of the anointing rising all throughout the evening. The people are hungry, but in the middle of a national spiritual drought. It is the polar opposite of what I experienced in Brazil, where the nation seemed to be ablaze with the Fire of God. There is really no revival to speak of anywhere in Japan. It is not because the people are not hungry however...

The J+Passion Conference is now over and what a wonderful and powerful conference it was. In each service there was an overwhelming response to the message…nearly unanimous. The second service which was in a morning session was so powerful. So many people were weeping during the message. The people came forward at the alter call wanting to lay down their lives to be used for God’s kingdom. I was told that the Japanese were very shy people. I was told that they would probably...
