July 19th, 2007 I am writing now from the beautiful mountains of North Georgia where I have been on vacation over the past week. It has been such a blessing to stop running for a few days and just enjoy my family. We have gone tubing, whitewater rafting, shopping (of course) and a whole lot of sitting and talking. I am getting ready to leave on Sunday for North Korea, then on to Japan, London, Philadelphia and Ghana before I return home again for a couple of days. Please continue to pray...

June 25th, 2009 Today was a busy day for news outlets around the world. It began with the sad passing of Farrah Fawcett; the beautiful actress from Charlie’s Angels, after a three-year battle with cancer. Her death was eclipsed, however, this afternoon, with the shocking and unexpected death of Michael Jackson who had a sudden, massive cardiac arrest. Both celebrities died today; June 25, 2009. Everyone seems to have an opinion of Michael Jackson’s controversial life. Whether they hate...

November 2nd, 2009 My wife and I are both devouring what we agree is one of the very best books we have ever read. It is the new autobiography of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke; Living A Life of Fire. I consider myself an avid reader and have quite a number of biographies and autobiographies in my library, but they are usually my least favorite books, being full of statistics, dates and data that could only be interesting to the author. This book is very different. It is 628 pages crammed full...

April 3rd, 2010 I’ve just finished reading a fantastic book (for the second time) that I would highly recommend to anyone who has a hunger for the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives.  I read it straight through in two sittings and found it nearly impossible to stop.  Around the 11th or 12th chapter my spirit was so full, I felt like I would burst.  I just had to put the book down and open up the prayer valve to let off some steam.  It is more than intellect to intellect writing,...

January 5th, 2012 I just have to share this amazing quote with you from the prolific author, evangelist and pastor F.B. Meyer.  I’d love to hear your thoughts about this one: “There are four different planes of power – the lowest is the physical, above that is the mental, above that is the moral, and above all is the spiritual. It is only when a man moves on the Spiritual level that he has power with God.  It is because too many ministers and Christian workers are content to live upon the...
