Do you want to know the will of God for your life? How many young people struggle with the question, “What is the will of God for my life?” They search here and there, go from one conference to another, from one encounter to another, from one minister to another and cannot seem to find what is the will of God for their lives! People cannot function because they’re confused as to what is the will of God is for their lives; where they need to be, what major to study, what job to have, etc. And it seems so complicated and hard to persuade God to reveal His will for us. Why?
Let me put it plain and simple; the will of God for your life has nothing to do what job you have, where you live, who you marry, or even what ministry you do in church. The will of God for your life is HOW you do all of these things; the will of God to live a righteous life in accordance to His word! It doesn’t matter where you work, the will of God for you to be righteous there. It doesn’t matter who you date or marry; the will of God for you to be righteous in your dating and in your marriage. We don’t need to spend our lives in misery trying to figure out where God wants us in lives because the Bible says that God will direct the steps of a righteous man! So, all you need to worry about, with regards to the will of God for your life, is to live in accordance with His word. That is the true will of God for your life. Everything else is God’s responsibility. No matter where you are in life, if you live a righteous life then God will direct your steps and you will end up where God wants you to be.
Remember Joseph, son of Jacob? His brothers sold him to slavery at the age of 17. He didn’t have the right to choose his career, where he was going to live, etc. But he was righteous where he was and God directed his steps and at the right time placed him where God wanted him to be – ruler of the most powerful empire at that time!
So, stop being stressed from a constant worry from trying to figure out what is the will of God is for your life because His will for your life is to live according to His word and He promises that if you do that then He will direct your steps to take you where God had intended you to be.
